Antica Locanda Lunetta

LOCATION

Situated in the heart of the historic centre of Mandas, a small town in central Sardinia, Antica Locanda Lunetta boasts a strategic location. From here, you can easily reach some of the island's main attractions: the beaches of the coast in about an hour's drive, the archaeological site of Su Nuraxi only 20 minutes away and the Giara and Aymerich nature parks in less than 40 minutes. Mandas, an ancient Spanish Duchy, retains a unique charm, with historic buildings and a peaceful atmosphere. In addition, the picturesque narrow-gauge train connects the village to Cagliari and the Barbagia mountains.

HOTEL

Converted from an old 17th century post station, Antica Locanda Lunetta is the result of a restoration that has preserved the original charm while enriching it with modern comforts. It welcomes guests with a herb garden, common areas rich in historical details and an elegant atmosphere that invites relaxation.

ROOMS

The rooms at the Locanda are divided into:

Old House Rooms: Located in the main building, on the first floor, they offer rustic details such as exposed wooden beams, parquet floors and a design that combines stone and wood. Equipped with central heating and independent air conditioning.
Suites: Located in the building that housed the former stables, they are extremely bright and overlook the garden. One has a private patio on the ground floor, while the other is on the first floor.

Each room is equipped with an LCD TV, courtesy set, hairdryer, hydromassage shower, kettle with a selection of drinks and free Wi-Fi.

Restaurant
The breakfast is served in the pretty room near the entrance. The owners are happy to meet the needs of their guests who take the Little Green Train and need to have an "early" breakfast (before the normal breakfast time). The Antica Locanda Lunetta offers only breakfast and is glad to suggest good places where to eat, for example at the Agriturismo "Le Vigne Ducali" in Mandas or the restaurant "Osteria La Forchetta", only a few steps away, with local and seafood cuisine. 

SERVICES & ACTIVITIES

Breakfast: Rich and varied, with sweet and savoury options, fresh fruit and seasonal produce.
Honesty Bar: Self-service area for drinks and snacks.
Nature activities: Excursions to surrounding parks and plateaus, such as the Giara di Gesturi Park and Aymerich.
