Location
The Tanka Golf Club is located on the south-eastern Sardinian coast, in the marine reserve of Capo Carbonara, which is in the well-known holiday destination of Villasimius. Thanks to its excellent position, as it is very close to the sea, it is possible here to find the right balance between playing open-air sports and enjoying an unforgettable beach holiday. The golf court can be reached easily from Cagliari: it is just a one hour drive on the S.P. 17 towards Villasimius. From this street you will enjoy a breath taking view of the Sardinian coast, with its green slopes full of typical Mediterranean vegetation and the different shades of blue of the sea.

Tanka Golf Club
The Tanka Golf Club, created by the famous designer Luigi Rota Caremoli, was opened in 2007 and immediately named best new golf coursein Italy by the magazine "World of Golf". The golf course is developed over 40 hectares and has a challenging 18 hole track, par 70, for a total length of 5418 mt. Its rolling hills and bent grass greens make of the Tanka Golf Club the most thrilling and unique boardwalk cart paths winding through woods ever seen in Sardinia.

This course will challenge your technique, precision and concentration. You will surely find walking on the course very relaxing, while enjoying the beautiful view over the coast of Villasimius and the blue sea of the marine reserve, in the wild, untouched nature in which the course is embedded.

The Golf Club provides also a driving range with twelve covered tees, in addition to a vast area with natural grass, next to a beautiful putting and pitching green, a club house and pro-shop. No handicap is requested.
