Location
Located in front of the splendid sea of the Costa Smeralda, the Grand Hotel Smeraldo Beach is just 200 metres from the centre of Baja Sardinia, a renowned summer resort on the coast. Olbia airport and port are about 35 km away, the port of Golfo Aranci 41 km, S. Teresa di Gallura 50 km and Palau 30 km.
Hotel
Surrounded by green and well-kept gardens, amidst aromatic plants and granite rocks shaped by the wind, the hotel is elegantly and soberly furnished, with pastel tones and traditional Sardinian elements.
Rooms
The Grand Hotel Smeraldo Beach has 160 rooms divided into different types. They follow the style of the hotel, with pastel shades and typical furnishings, and are equipped with a balcony or terrace, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi.
Beach
The hotel has direct access to a small sandy beach, equipped with umbrellas and sunbeds, and small, intimate coves where you can take refuge. The seabed consists of sand and rocks, and the sea is crystal clear and ideal for snorkelling enthusiasts.
Restaurant
The hotel has two restaurants: the Smeraldo Restaurant, on the ground floor overlooking the swimming pool, serves the delicacies of local and international cuisine, using high-quality fresh produce. Formal attire is required.
The Pagoda Restaurant overlooks the sea and the hotel beach. Open for lunch, it prepares buffet lunches with grilled fish and meat; dress code here may be informal. Open seasonally, from June to September.
Services & Activities
The hotel offers guests a large swimming pool park that slopes down to the beach in front of it, consisting of 4 pools on different levels, one of which has a whirlpool bath.
The following services are also available: a terrace bar where guests can enjoy an aperitif or a cocktail, bewitched by the splendid view of the Maddalena Archipelago; a fitness area; outdoor tennis courts 200 metres from the hotel; free, unattended outdoor parking; Wi-Fi connection; organisation of excursions (on request, with fee).
