Parco di Molentargius: a home to pink flamingos in the city center of Cagliari

A home to pink flamingos in the city center. There are very few places in the world where something so magical and unique is likely to happen.

One of those is Molentargius Park (Parco di Molentargius), in southern Sardinia:  a 1600 hectares  of natural oasis framed between the urban centers of Cagliari, Quartu Sant’Elena, Selargius and Quartucciu, bordering the seaside (lungomare Poetto).

Since 1999, the year of its foundation, the park has become an ideal habitat for various animal species, as well as a gathering place for those who love nature, sports and quiet walk in the pink atmosphere of a breath-taking sunset on the salt pans. Discover more in our video...
