Are there any dog friendly beaches in Sardinia?

The most dreamed summer destination in the Mediterranean provides more than 20 pet friendly beaches to Fido. If there is not a reserved pet area, it is not allowed bring your dog to the beach.

Since a couple of years, either, Sardinia dog friendly beaches as well as accommodations are increasing in number. Organizing a beach for dogs is not easy and a safe area and it must guarantee a range of specific services and facilities as fountains, fenced areas, veterinary care.

Generally, you have to follow some rules while visiting a Sardinia dog friendly beach: it is required the dog health card and the muzzle if your dog has a history of being aggressive toward other dogs or people. The entrance to the water is allowed almost everywhere, under the supervision of the owners. Dogs in heat and aggressive are not allowed.
